ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment in which the Certified Acupuncturist inserts thin sterile needles at specific acupoints in order to access your energy pathways.

A common misconception about acupuncture is that the needles will be painful during the treatment.

However, due to the flexibility and size of an acupuncture needle, it is common that clients describe the feeling as a tingling sensation.

Our Certified Acupuncturist, Wai Tong Choi has extensive training in Chinese Medicine that started with Chinese Herbal Medicine in 1991 at the Fujian University of TCM in China.

He worked as A Herbal Medicine practitioner in the hospital in China until he immigrated to Canada.

In 2021 he successfully completed his Acupuncture licensing and has been helping patients with their health concerns ever since.

He has experience in treating musculoskeletal disorders, anxiety, insomnia, sciatica, and much more.

His treatment modalities include E-stim (electroacupuncture), ear acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, tuina, and gua sha.
